IDSA Virtual Lobby Now Open – VIEW LIVE WEBCAST

28th July 2009

The IDSA Virtual Lobby is now open (see link below). In addition, the IDSA has posted a terms of use on the virtual lobby--these terms are the IDSA's one-sided view of how copyright restrictions etc should play out. You do not need to read the terms before viewing the presentations and you SHOULD NOT. The IDSA is not entitled to post any restrictions on viewing, period, beginning and end of story. I would not want to give them any argument that people read their terms before viewing and the best way to ensure that is to simply not view the terms before viewing.

  1. Tina eloquently put a human face on the disease. Lorraine presented a compelling case on how the guidelines are being misused by insurance companies and treating physicians.

  2. I am unable to find a DOWNLOAD for Silverlight anywhere…not on the IDSA site, not on "click here" not on the Microsoft.com Silverlight website. Not through your email, not through Tincup's email. No where am I able to access the download for Silverlight. I called the technical assistance line and they are unable to help me without taking my information and calling me back.

  3. So grateful to all you bloggers. Out here in southern Ohio without local L.D. connections, it's great to experience this advocacy network. Unfortunately, I lost the webcast and can't seem to get hooked up again via the IDSA link. ???

  4. Tina was brilliant. I appreciated that she spoke for all the world Lymies, not only for American ones. We do suffer too here, and we also have to cope with the IDSA guidelines. Thanks Tina!

  5. What happened to the feed from the conference. My browser has been reporting forever that it is "waiting for the session."

  6. It would be great if a techie out there could be broadcast these in segments for YouTube. Then everyone really could watch it, just a little delayed and in 10 minute segments or so.
    Any takers?
Gotta run, trying to sell my house on EBay to pay for my son's treatments.

  7. I agree with Elizabeth – we need a rebroadcast and transcript! Also agree with Rob – someone please put segments on YouTube!
