Lorraine Johnson IDSA Review Hearing Speech

The IDSA has now posted links to all of the presentation videos. I decided to retape my video outside the hearing so that it will not be subject to the IDSA's decisions about how long to post or keep the archive. The video on the IDSA site includes the Q&A and reflects the proceedings that day.

The IDSA Lyme Panel Review Hearing in Washington DC was streamed live over the Internet July 30. This hearing is part of the antitrust settlement that the Connecticut Attorney General negotiated to address “serious flaws” in the IDSA guidelines process.

Eighteen speakers–representing patients, physicians, and research scientists–testified. You can access videos from all of the presenters at http://webcast.you-niversity.com/idsaArchives/.  The video speech that I taped after the hearing is below–the official with Q&A is on their site.

  1. Awesome that finally we have someone from the lawyer side to look into these matters. We are really suffering and all they can say is Lyme is no big deal? this has to got to change…

  2. I am glad that this hearing is a part of antitrust settlement which was actually something that was under the negotiation of Connecticut attorney general which was actually made to report serious matters in the process of IDSA guidelines. I am also surprised to know that there were around 18 speakers which embodied physicians, patients as well as research scientists. Anyway, try to watch the above video in flash as it is much more clearer!

  3. I’m glad they’re finally putting this controversy into some action. Lyme disease is spreading world wide and something must be done to address this before it becomes an epidermic.

  4. Hey thanks for the video. Thanks a lot for enjoying this beauty blog with me. I am appreciating it very much!

  5. Hi Lorraine,

I was referred to you by a few people and am hoping you can contact me or give me a referral for an attorney for a medical malpractice case pertaining to Lyme Disease. Please email me so I know you received my message. Thank you…
