Status update on FY2025 federal Lyme funding

As you can see from the table below, Congress has started working on Fiscal Year 2025 appropriations.
And as we reported in July and then August, we continue to make progress in the House and Senate on increases for Lyme and tick-borne conditions.
The chart below shows the progress to date on the two bills we follow in the House and Senate: the Labor-HHS-Education appropriations bill and the Defense appropriations bill.
You can see that only the Defense appropriations bill was passed by the House as shown in the column “Initial Passage.” So Congress still has more work to do.
We do not expect the appropriations process to finish until after the election in November. Stay tuned for more information. We will keep you posted as we know more.
