Thank you so much for shining the light in Lyme disease. So many doctors think it is so rare and really don't know very much about it. They are not able to help their patients due to their inadequate medical training. Families like mine are suffering due to having chronic Lyme disease all because the doctors we trusted were not given the tools in med school to identify nor treat Lyme disease. Thank you for spreading the news. Education can slow down this epidemic.
could you please contact kwwl- tv in waterloo, iowa and see if they would air your special on lyme disease. it is bad here and doctors don't even believe that there is a lyme disease and let people just keep dying with missed diagnoses. maybe it would wake up our medical community.
it was really great thanks for sharing i had watched it..i am also looking foward for more shows.
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last summer. This is after seeing several Dr.'s and telling them I believed I was bitten by a tick sometime in 2006/2007. I have a raised lump just under my right knee that has never gone away. They told me "Oh it's nothing", "You'll be fine". Well I'm not fine going on 5 yrs. later. Dealing with chronic pain all over my body, weakness, dizziness, headaches, joint pain.. you name it. Now I have been bit again, which I know for sure because it was attached to the nape of my neck and I physically removed it. I am going to demand further testing and if the current Dr. won't listen then I will continue to look for a Dr. that will!
