I’m glad to see the progress being made as far as treatment but what is being done to try and irradicate these ticks? I did see there’s set ups in woods that deer rub against something to get to food but isn’t there more that could be done. The road I live on in the country is severely tick infested and most all living on this road has or has had lyme, many late stage.
It was disappointing not to have a box asking how you found a way back to good health. Conventional medicine has little to offer in the way of healing. If it were not for alternative medicine, and the ability to pay for it out of pocket I would still be ill.
Ticks are just starting to get bad in Clarion County. It has been my observation that ticks increase in numbers after the first few frosts. I like to hunt grouse in October and last year my dog had over 30 ticks on her coat a number of times. I tested positive for Lyme last year, but caught it quickly and the drugs worked in one week.
Does anyone have some radio Public Service Announcements? If no, maybe someone can write some – I can get us air time.
Hope you get out this week and enjoy the fall colors!
