NEWS: Former legislator who carried PA's first Lyme bill has passed away
Merle H. Phillips, who served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for more than 30 years, died December 30 at age 85.
Pennsylvania Lyme activist Alan Burdge, posting on Facebook, said, “Today we have lost a great Lyme fighter. Merle was the first one in the state of Pennsylvania to introduce a Lyme bill, and suffered with Lyme for many years.”
