Sadly ANTS are not mentioned, they are the best,to get rid of ticks, since they feed of the eggs,my garden was the only one that had no ticks, because I had ants and I mean a lot of ants,I love in natural gardening,so I never had an idea of getting rid of the ants nests,I just walked around them and avoided skin contact, cause they produce an acid against enemies, which would burn and bite for some hours or days, back then I did not realize, that they were eating the eggs of ticks,I just wondered (my freinds and guests too) that I had no ticks as my dog was free of them.Later I found out they eat the eggs/nests of ticks.Another interesting fact is that in Homeopathy theres a Remedy made of ants called Formica Rufa http://www.homeoint.org/books/boericmm/f/form.htm,which could be used to treat Lyme as it covers a lot of the symptoms, the disease produces. So if u want to have a garden to enjoy without ticks then plant ants and let them live and build nest in your grass lawn, even if it does not took so perfect…;)
