Kristofferson finds Lyme treatment has improved his failing memory
According to a June 6 article in Rolling Stone, singer/songwriter Kris Kristofferson has suffered from increasingly debilitating memory loss in recent years. Initially, doctors attributed it to either Alzheimer’s or dementia resulting from long-ago blows to the head. Then, says Rolling Stone:
Earlier this year, a doctor decided to test Kristofferson for Lyme disease. The test came back positive. His wife believes he picked it up from a tick as he crawled around the forest floor in Vermont for six weeks while filming the movie Disappearances.
“He was taking all these medications for things he doesn’t have, and they all have side effects,” she says. She is wearing one of her husband’s tour merchandise shirts. After he gave up his Alzheimer’s and depression pills and went through three weeks of Lyme-disease treatment, Lisa was shocked. “All of a sudden he was back,” she says. There are still bad days, but “some days he’s perfectly normal and it’s easy to forget that he is even battling anything.” READ MORE.
So thrilled to hear that someone thought to also test him for Lyme. Hopefully his LLMD is awesome and using the most current advances (ten pass ozone, methylene blue w/UVL and thymus therapy). This can be turned around! It just takes some time.
Hopefully this article brings much needed attention to the rampant spread of Lyme and the awful misdiagnoses that often come first in the healing process.
Godspeed, Kris, on your journey to wellness.
Would love to have more info on the current advances in treatment you mentioned. I believe to be suffering from PLDS having been treated in 1990. Getting worse, classic symptoms, wanting to find someone who can treat me, anywhere in the U.S.
You can trust and find a doctor that specializes in the treatment of Lyme disease at ILADS.COM. Wishing you success!
I would like to know what meds kris Kristofferson was getting from his doctors in such a late stage. They may help others, this could help lots of other saps just like me
I agree. I would like to know the test to diagnose along with the meds he took…. this story has given me hope I just wish to know more.
the following article from the Huffington Post gives a lot more details about his doctor and treatment:

I wish they would come forward with the test they gave him to diagnose. That would be extremely helpful. IN AL, they will only perform the ELISA..even if you are chronic. It never works. So, then you have to go out of state and get someone to either do the western blot or take spinal. It would greatly help people if they came out with this information. I am happy to hear he has improved and has a new lease on life!
You can order your own western blot test kit from IGENEX, inc. they have a 98% accuracy. I went through this company for my Lyme and co infections tests. As you already know the ELISA, is a waist of time, and reads a 60% false NEGATIVE….
HEAD DR WAS ASKED HOW MANY LYME PERSONS TODAY ,2 YRS BACK ”’5 MILLION”
I am so happy for Kristofferson and his family. His diagnosis and treatment is only further proof that Lyme treatment works!!! How long will our populations have to pay the unreasonable cost of Lyme diagnosis and treatment. It is extremely evident that we have fascist government forces supporting illegal high prices for medications by the illegal drug and insurance companies. Expensive lobbying by super rich drug and insurance should be outlawed in my opinion. If someone has worked in the drug or insurance companies, they should not be allowed to have government positions in any health department.
where does Kris doctor practice, and his first name please?
