Meetings 1 and 2 of the federal Tick-Borne Disease Working Group were held in Washington DC, on December 11 and 12, 2017.
This panel was established by the 21st Century Cures Act. It is intended to bring together parties with different viewpoints regarding tick-borne diseases, to inform federal health policy.

MO state park website stated last summer:
“A cooperative effort to trap and collects ticks in Meramec State Park is under way by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).
…The collected ticks are being tested for any kind of tick-borne illness”
currently only testing results for Bourbon virus have been released.
