LymeDisease.org conducts and publishes patient-powered research using surveys of large samples of Lyme patients. Our last two patient surveys drew over 5,000 responses each and were published in peer-reviewed journals. We also conduct and publish broadscale patient surveys on the impact and cost of Lyme disease. Our most recent survey on the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) proposed restrictions on Lyme testing drew over 6,000 responses within a month and was used to inform our conversations with the FDA regarding the negative impact of the proposed regulations on Lyme disease.
