Lorraine Johnson to speak at Stanford MedX conference
MedX, a huge medical conference held at Stanford University every year, focuses on the future of healthcare. It spans several days and includes dozens of speakers, whose talks are transmitted around the world via live streaming video and social media. Organizers say that MedX reaches over 500 million people in 69 countries.
We are proud to announce that this year, LymeDisease.org’s Lorraine Johnson is a MedX speaker! She will talk about Big Data research and the promise it holds for finding a cure for Lyme disease. This technology has only recently become available. It allows Lyme patients to pool their health care data to answer such questions as which treatments are most effective and why treatments work for some patients but not others.
Lorraine will speak on Sept. 26, at 10:30 am Pacific Time. You must register to watch it live. The Twitter hashtag for Lorraine’s presentation is #MedXlyme. We will post a video of her talk on our website when it becomes available.
Hope all goes well, and your interested audience expands. Wish the best, from a fellow Lyme patient.
This is great news. Thank you Lorraine.
Thanks to Lorraine Johnson for your endless patience when addressing tick borne illness. You are appreciated here in Texas
