KQED “Forum” airs discussion of Lyme in Northern California
KQED’s “Forum” is a highly rated interview program on San Francisco NPR radio station. On May 3, it broadcast an excellent discussion entitled “The Rise of Lyme Disease in Northern California.”
Host Michael Krasny interviewed investigative journalist Mary Beth Pfeiffer, author of “Lyme: The First Epidemic of Climate Change”; Dr. Raphael Stricker, former president of ILADS and current board member of LymeDisease.org; and biologist Andrea Swei, from San Francisco State University.
It’s also a call-in show, and several articulate Lyme patients weighed in via phone and email.
