Lorraine Johnson will speak at online LymeMIND conference
Lorraine Johnson, CEO of LymeDisease.org and Principal Investigator of the MyLymeData research project, is among the speakers at the LymeMIND conference on November 5.
Johnson will participate in a panel entitled Finding Your Voice and Fighting for the Future: A Discussion on Patient Advocacy, Clinician Education and Access to Care.
Also on the panel are Dr. Elizabeth Maloney, President, Partnership for Tick-Borne Diseases Education and Family Practice Physician, and Pat Smith, President, Lyme Disease Association.
The online conference. sponsored by the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation, is free to the public and offers an opportunity to hear from leading researchers, clinicians and advocates.
The foundation will also announce the LymeX Diagnostics Phase 1 winners during LymeMIND 2022. This is the first step of the LymeX Diagnostics Prize competition to address an unmet patient need for advanced Lyme disease diagnostics.
