LYME SCI: My live-tweets from Day One of ILADS 2017
My twitter-finger was working overtime last weekend at the International Lyme and Associated Diseases conference in Boston. Here’s a running list of what I tweeted the first day, Nov. 10. Stay tuned for tweets from Day 2 and 3.

Where does one get help with insurance denials in the State Of New York? Was told to seek help from the State Attorney General’s office. NOT good advice! Got nowhere. Contacted K. Gilibrand’s office, was told how and where to appeal. Still trying that way. Why aren’t people with TBIs uniting in NY? Why isn’t there a class action suit?
Thank you for reading my blog, Phyllis. Each state is different. Coming from California I have little to offer. My advice is contact one of the support groups in NY. (link: https://www.lymedisease.org/get-involved/take-action/find-your-state-group/) Hopefully someone there should be able to steer you in the right direction. Good luck!
Thank you so very much Lonnie!
