Lyme Awareness Month meditation challenge
By Milena Pastore
Join Soul Tribe Yoga Collective’s Lyme Disease Awareness Month Meditation Challenge in partnership with the Colorado Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Association.
This challenge and Weekly Community Meditations are open to all with tick-borne disease in all geographic regions as well as their caregivers, family, and friends.
Participants commit to a daily meditation practice that suits their abilities, needs, and lifestyle. After registering, you will receive a list of daily meditative activities that you can incorporate into your routine as well as a meditation log that can help you to track your progress.
And the best part about this challenge? We will gather online each Friday throughout Awareness Month to practice together in community. Dates are May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Sessions will be held at 11 am Mountain Time.
There is no cost to participate, though donations in any amount are welcome.
When joining the Weekly Community Meditations, please begin signing on to Zoom five minutes before the scheduled start time. This will allow you to get settled and resolve potential technical issues.
Weekly Community Meditations begin promptly and last for 25 minutes in total. This includes five minutes of guidance and twenty minutes of silent meditation.
Community class on May 11, in-person and online
On Saturday, May 11, at 11 AM Mountain Time, we will host a community class at a studio in Northern Colorado. Participants in other areas of the world, or who are unable to travel due to illness or transportation issues can join us online. It’s a donation-based class; however, no one will be turned away for inability to contribute. All are welcome.
