PODCAST: What it takes to heal from Lyme disease
Last year, I wrote about Josh and Ethan, two young guys who are making their mark as effective advocates for Lyme disease. (See: “Fierce” Lyme advocates sponsor Utah showing of The Quiet Epidemic.)
Friends since childhood, both ended up struggling with Lyme disease in their high school and college years. Their health has now improved, college is now behind them, and both continue to give back to the Lyme community.
In a wide-ranging interview on the Tick Boot Camp Podcast, the pair discuss their symptoms, the process of getting diagnosed, and their personal experiences with various Lyme treatments, including disulfiram, dapsone, ketamine, ozone, herbal antimicrobials, and oral and IV antibiotics.
They discuss why they think LymeDisease.org’s MyLymeData project is so important.
Going deeper, they explore the intersection of faith and health, and how their experiences with Lyme disease have shaped their spiritual beliefs and personal growth. They emphasize the role of hope, resilience, and community support in their healing processes.
Fascinating interview. Click here to listen.
