TOUCHED BY LYME: Winning video links Lyme to climate change
The Climate Cost Project is an organization that encourages Americans to start talking about how environmental change affects specific communities and individuals.
The group recently held a video contest, and first prize in the adult category went to a short video about Lyme disease.
“Lyme on the Rise” was created by recent Smith College graduate Anjali Kumar. It tells the story of two young people from Massachusetts whose lives have been changed by Lyme disease—and links their illness to the degradation of the environment.
