The US House of Representatives will vote today on the 21st Century Cures Act. Provisions related to Lyme disease are included in the bill. (The Lyme language was there, then it was switched to something we didn’t like, then–thanks to last minute negotiations–beneficial provisions were put in.)

This is fabulous! Thank you for your diligence in getting the Lyme and TBD added, along with the ongoing monitoring of the language!!. From someone who had 8 year delay in any treatment(due to CDC Western Blot standards), with the usual, repetitive and negative MD responses in Colorado, this is hopeful! Perhaps this will be a beginning for more impetuous and funding for research/treatment.
