WV governor back at work after “possible Lyme disease”
West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice has returned to work, after being out for several days suffering from “possible Lyme disease.”
During a press briefing on Monday, Justice said, “The last few days were unusual to say the least. I would have never dreamed that a little tick caused the magnitude of problem that it caused.”
When the governor began feeling ill last week, he was immediately tested for COVID-19, with negative results.
His office then announced that he was being treated for “possible Lyme disease.” There is still no word on how the governor was tested or treated.
